Jessica Shimberg, Ph.D.
Dr. Shimberg is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who hopes to empower her clients to generate self compassion and assert healthy boundaries with others. She aims to create a supportive, safe, and trusting environment for clients to come to new understandings about themselves and take action toward change.

Dr. Shimberg earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Adelphi University, Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies. She completed her doctoral internship as well as a post-doctoral fellowship at Rutgers University’s Counseling Center. Dr. Shimberg has worked in an array of settings, including college counseling centers, community mental health, and psychiatric research. She has been in private practice since 2012.
Dana Cohen, Psy.D.
Dr. Cohen is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about supporting women's mental health and wellness. She welcomes her clients with warmth, kindness, and thoughtful presence. Dr. Cohen collaborates with each client to deeply understand their experience and sources of distress, and to then discover new paths to relief, healing, and peace of mind. She provides a safe therapeutic space for women to discuss issues across the lifespan including the following:
-relationships of all kinds: romantic partners, family, friends
-stress and anxiety
-family planning decisions, including decisions to be childfree
-pregnancy
-abortion and pregnancy loss
-preparation for empowered, positive birth experiences
-processing birth experiences
-adjustment to motherhood and parenthood
-attachment and relationship bonds with babies and children
Dr. Cohen earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from George Washington University. She completed her doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Rutgers University’s Counseling Center. She has provided therapy and psychological testing for children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings. Dr. Cohen has completed training in maternal mental health at the Seleni Institute in NYC. She has been in private practice since 2012.
